The Olde Farm
What We Did
From 2003-2009, The Bingham Group provided services for our client, The Olde Farm—a prestigious golf club located in the rolling hills of western Virginia. We handled: strategic planning to increase social memberships, strategic planning to increase its rating on “America’s 50 Greatest Golf Retreats” listing, public relations, e-blast promotions, tournament events and invitations, and magazine and newsletter development and publication. We worked with them until they took their marketing and design in house.
Tennessee Overhill
What We Did
The Bingham Group worked with the Tennessee Overhill Heritage Association for the rebuild of their website along with some video marketing materials.
Our team began our process by identifying the clients goals and concerns. This client already ranked well online and was worried they would lose their rank once they got a new site.
Our team kept those concerns in mind and started their new site with a page backup of their old site so all page URLs would remain the same. By the time the site was done, we created redirects where appropriate so the old links would link to the new pages for the pages we ended up changing. We launched this site and Tennessee Overhill kept their rank position.
The new site we created for this client takes their 1500+ pages and gave the site better navigation and a more logical backend. Instead of posts and pages being created as posts, we separated them into posts, pages, excursions, outdoor activities, history, and a few other custom post types. We also wanted the site to appear fun and bring attention to the various things that make the region special. We took inspiration from other tourism sites, and created something truly unique to Overhill.
Using custom post types helps keep their backend from becoming cluttered and helps the site have a well defined URL structure and page system.
Digital technology has made our world more transparent and interconnected, posing new challenges and opportunities for every business. A holistic, user-centric perspective is what truly sets one apart.
Once the new site launched, we heard from several people including their staff that everyone loved the new site and we made it a lot easier to find the content and activities on the website. This new website and the marketing we do for Overhill in our three publications helped them reach over 250,000 people per year!

The Bingham Group then married the live action footage, still photography, national media footage to create a visual timeline of events. This project was accomplished completely in-house by utilizing the Bingham Group’s broadcast production facilities.
The goal of this successful documentary campaign was to create a visual timeline of events & survival, create awareness, express hope and to direct the audience to visit the area again. This project was accomplished completely in-house by utilizing The Bingham Group’s broadcast production facilities.
The Bingham Group extended the animated campaign to promote special events and visiting exhibits, including a separate animated spot incorporating the visiting Pirate Exhibit. Reentry Campaign
What We Did
The Bingham Group worked directly with the state of Tennessee to complete their advertising and creative requirements for a campaign promoting the Tennessee Office Of Re-Entry which helps justice-involved individuals find the resources they need to get back into society once released from incarceration.
During this campaign, we created several videos to be played on TV stations across the entire state, created, printed, and shipped multiple versions of wall posters and floor stickers that would be on display in prisons and jails, and created graphics for bus benches and shelters as well as a full bus wrap that will be making its rounds in Nashville, TN.
This campaign was a success and The Tennessee Office of Re-Entry reached over 600,000 impressions each month on TV alone.

Bus Bench Graphics
The Re-Entry Campaign was an important campaign by Governor Lee’s new Office Of Re-Entry whose main focus is to help those that have been incarcerated re-enter society and have a lower change of recidivism. This campaign required a lot of graphic design work and even translating those graphics into Spanish.
American Job Centers and health departments received one of each poster while all the prisons and jails in Tennessee received some of each poster as well as some of each floor decal and a floor decals installation kit which included a plastic squeegee, tape and detailed instructions. We also had benches and buses around Nashville, TN outfitted with our Re-Entry graphics.
A large part of this campaign was also our video work which was used on social media and for TV spots placed on broadcast TV all across Tennessee
During the three month period where the ad ran on broadcast TV, we were able to reach a total of 1,923,395 people. Almost 2 Million!
