Monroe Life Magazine’s Balloon Festival Soars Yet Again
The Hot Air Balloons that filled the Monroe County skyline on September 19th and 20th were deemed yet another huge success by locals and visitors alike. Twenty balloons that lit up in a synchronized glow at dusk, live music, and good food were among the attractions that drew in even larger crowds than the first festival last September. Thousands of people enjoyed the event that benefitted Hiwassee H.O.P.E., an organization that helps former foster children excel as they enter both college and life. The festival was made possible by the Bingham Group and local sponsors.
The Bingham Group is going “Wild!”
In July, the Bingham Group was awarded a 4 year contract with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency to advertise, produce and distribute their regulatory Hunting and Trapping, Fishing, and Waterfowl guides. The guides are produced once a year with updated information, laws, and tips that will aid over 1 million hunters in the process of gaming in all regions of Tennessee. Magazines are distributed at 790 sites across Tennessee including all Wal-Marts and Welcome Centers.
East Tennessee County courtroom provides backdrop for gut-wrenching, Anti-Meth Commercial
The Bingham Group began the process of filming a commercial to warn Tennessee residents about consequences of meth in Athens, Tennessee last week. McMinn County Sheriff, Joe Guy, allowed The Bingham Group’s broadcasting department, under the direction of manager Ben Gibson, inside the McMinn County Courtroom to shoot an emotional commercial that features a mother losing custody of her child due to “cooking meth around her children.”
The Bingham Group heads up Tennessee’s largest Anti-Meth Campaign
The Bingham Group is officially contracted with the State of Tennessee for Homeland Security’s Anti-Methamphetamine Campaign. The creative campaign will include various outlets with work in tv, media, website design, electronic and print media placement, and advertising services.

The Bingham Group and Hiwassee College are proud to announce the success of the Celebration of H.O.P.E. Balloon Festival that took place on Hiwassee College’s campus on September 28th. The event that featured 11 hot air balloons, live music, carnival style food and games, and a balloon glow, was a success as it drew thousands of locals and visitors to the college’s main campus in Madisonville, Tennessee. The charity event benefitted Hiwassee H.O.P.E., a new program that helps former foster children excel as they enter both college and life. Owner and editor of The Bingham Group and Monroe Life Magazine, Lisa Bingham, was thrilled with the outcome of the event and said that she is already “looking forward to years of balloon festivals helping worthy causes in Monroe County.”
The Bingham Group says NO to Tobacco
The Bingham Group, a Knoxville based full-service marketing communications firm, was recently awarded a prestigious campaign with the State of Tennessee Tobacco Quitline. The Bingham Group has been hired on a 2 year contract to design, develop, and place media for the State Department of Health in efforts to encourage all to begin the journey to recovery from tobacco related habits and addictions. The campaign will include radio, print, tv spots, web sites and other material to help residents get information on kicking out nicotine cravings.
